Overnight Peach Proats (protein oats)

img_4776This is an easy recipe you can customize to feed a family, or breakfast for one.  My family loves this delicious dish while camping. As pictured on the left, you will need:

  • A foil container (I am reusing one that I got from Costco when I picked up their ready-to-go butter chicken)
  • Rolled oats (amount as per people you are serving.  I used about 4-5 cups)
  • Protein powder (I am using chocolate)
  • Can of peaches
  • 1/2-1 cup Shredded coconut (optional)

Fill your container with oats and add protein powder.  I used 3 scoops of protein powder.  Mix together.  Top with coconut. Pour the juice from the canned peaches over the oats. Top up the container with water just until the oats are covered. Add sliced peaches and nuts on top.  Cover with tinfoil and place in fridge overnight.

In the morning, the oats will be soft and ready to serve and eat.
