Roasted Almonds

1 bag raw almonds (found in the baking section of most grocery stores)

  1. Preheat oven to 400F
  2. Divide a large bag of almonds among 2 cookie sheets
  3. Cook for 8-10 mins
  4. Give the almonds a stir and transfer placement in the oven (ie. The cookie sheet that was on the top tray now moves to the lower tray for equal cooking distribution)
  5. Cook almonds for about another 8-10 mins.  You should be able to smell them at this point.   Remove and let them cool.  They will continue to cook after you remove them so don’t leave them in the oven too long or they will burn after you take them out.
  6. Transfer to a glass container and enjoy.
