Honey Lime Shrimp

1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/4 cup olive oil or avocado oil
2 Tbsp honey
Juice of a small lime, or half a large lime (2-3Tbsp)
Zest of one small lime, or half a large lime
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional as this will make it spicy)

Mix all the above ingredients and combine the marinade with the shrimp in a large freezer bag.  Let shrimp marinade for 30-60mins, flipping the bag around once or twice during that time to coat all the shrimp.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add your shrimp to the pan in a single layer, making sure they are not too crowded.  When cooked, remove from pan and serve immediately.
